Principal Justin Groth
Justin Groth was born in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin to John and Christine Groth on April 30, 1982 and became a baptized child of God on May 8, 1982. Justin grew up in West Bend, Wisconsin and attended Good Shepherd Lutheran School from kindergarten through eighth grade. He then attended Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School and graduated in 2000.
Justin attended Martin Luther College from 2000-2005 pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Education. He majored in Education with a minor in Choral Music. He took a 5 year course of study to be state certified to teach kindergarten through grade six and synod certified to teach kindergarten through high school. Upon graduation he received a call to serve at Mount Olive Lutheran School in Mankato, Minnesota. There he taught 7th and 8th grade for one year. In 2006 he received a divine call to Immanuel Lutheran School in Hutchinson, Minnesota teaching 3rd through 8th grades and serving as principal.
In April of 2010 he accepted the call to Sault Sainte Marie to serve as 3rd to 8th grade teacher and principal. In the 2011-2012 school year Mr. Groth's duties changed, as he accepted the call to serve as the K-8 teacher and principal.
Justin married Heidi Priebe on June 10, 2005 and has three daughters, Emily, Sarah and Andrea.
Pastor Paul Voss
Pastor Voss is the eldest of Pastor David and Laurie Voss' four sons. He was born in River Falls, Wisconsin on May 23, 1984 and became a baptized child of God on June 3rd that same year.
Pastor Voss moved to Williamston, Michigan when his father accepted the divine call to be the pastor at Memorial Lutheran Church. From an early age, Paul expressed a desire to enter the pastoral ministry, and so he attended Michigan Lutheran Seminary for his high school education. Upon graduation in 2002, he enrolled at Martin Luther College and completed the Studies in Pastoral Ministry program in 2006.
Paul attended Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary from 2006-2010, and spent his vicar year at Messiah Lutheran in Wichita, Kansas. He was extended the divine call to serve as pastor at Immanuel and Our Savior's Lutheran churches through the Assignment Committee of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
Paul met his wife, Leah - at that time a student at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minnesota - while they were both in college. The two were married on August 19, 2007. Paul and Leah were blessed with their first child, Evelyn, a baby girl born in October of 2010.
