Our Called Workers

Pastor Voss is the eldest son of Pastor David and Laurie Voss.  He was born in River Falls, Wisconsin on May 23, 1984 and became a baptized child of God on June 3rd that same year.

Paul attended Michigan Lutheran Seminary for his high school education. Upon graduation in 2002, he enrolled at Martin Luther College and completed the Studies in Pastoral Ministry program in 2006.  He attended Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary from 2006-2010, and spent his vicar year at Messiah Lutheran in Wichita, Kansas. Pastor Voss was extended the divine call to serve as pastor at Immanuel and Our Savior's Lutheran churches through the Assignment Committee of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.

Principal Justin Groth was born in Menommenee, Wisconsin to John and Christine Groth on April 30, 1982 and became a baptized child of God on May 8th. Justin attended Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School and graduated in 2000.  He attended Martin Luther College from 2000-2005 pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Education. He majored in Education with a minor in Choral Music. He took a 5 year course of study to be state certified to teach kindergarten through grade six and synod certified to teach kindergarten through high school.

Justin came to Immanuel after serving at Mount Olive Lutheran School in Mankato, Minnesota and Immanuel Lutheran School in Hutchinson, Minnesota.  In April of 2010 he accepted the call to Sault Sainte Marie to serve as teacher and principal.
