Our Pastor & Teachers
Paul Voss - Pastor

Pastor Voss is then eldest Pastor David and Laurie Voss’s four sons. He was born in River Falls, Wisconsin on May 23, 1984, and became a baptized child of God on June 3 that same year. 
Pastor Voss moved to Williamston, Michigan when his father accepted the divine call to be the pastor at Memorial Lutheran Church. 
From an early age, Paul expressed a desire to enter into the pastoral ministry, and so he attended Michigan Lutheran Seminary for his high school education. Upon graduation in 2002, he enrolled at Martin Luther College and completed the Studies in Pastoral Ministry program in 2006. 
Paul attended Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary from 2006-2010, and spent his vicar year at Messiah Lutheran in Wichita, KS. He was extended the divine call to serve as pastor at Immanuel and Our Saviour’s Lutheran churches through the Assignment Committee of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
Paul met his wife, Leah – at that time a student at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN – while they were both in college. The two were married on August 19, 2007. Paul and Leah are expecting their first child, a little girl, in early October. 
Justin Groth - Principal

3rd - 8th Grade Teacher 

Justin grew up in West Bend, WI where he attended Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School.  He later attended Martin Luther College and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a minor in Choral Music.  His first call was a one year call to Mount Olive Lutheran School in Mankato, MN where he served as half-time 7th-8th grade teacher as well as 2nd grade teacher's aide.  He then recieved the call to serve as principal and upper grades teacher at Immanuel Lutheran School in Hutchinson, MN.  In 2010, he accepted the call to serve at Immanuel in Sault Ste. Marie. 

Justin and his wife, Heidi, have been married since June 2005. They have three daughters, Emily, Sarah, and Andrea.



 
Amy Mottl - Teacher

K - 2nd Grade Teacher

Amy grew up in Marinette, WI and later in Green Bay, WI. She attended Fox Valley Lutheran High School in Appleton, WI. She graduated from Martin Luther College in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a minor in English. Her first call was to teach grades Kindergarten -2nd at Immanuel Lutheran School in Sault Sainte Marie, where she currently teaches.
